Chinese Bhel

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced capsicum
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 4 tsp schezuan sauce
  • 2 tsp chilli oil
  • 4 tsp ginger (adrak) water
  • 2 tsp soy sauce to taste
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 4 cups crispy fried noodles

Method

  • Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the spring onions, cabbage, capsicum and carrots and sauté on a high flame for 2 mins;
  • Add the schezuan sauce, chilli oil, ginger water and soya sauce and salt and sauté on a high flame for another min;
  • Remove from the flame and transfer it to a bowl;
  • Add the fried noodles and toss well. Serve immediately.
